Southern Union Conference Office of Education Administration

Debra Fryson, Director of Education, Southern Union Conference is the executive secretary of the Southern Union Board of Education and is responsible for coordinating, evaluating, monitoring and developing Early Childhood through grade 12 education program in the Southern Union and represents the Southern Union in implementation of the NAD educational system. She assists local conference offices of education by establishing administrative policies and coordinating the consistent implementation of those policies.

Debra is also responsible for maintaining and implementing certification standards for all instructional personnel, coordinating the school accreditation process, promoting sound curriculum development, marketing, and the development and implementation of the Salary Scale for K-12 Education Personnel.

The Southern Union Office of Education collaborates with local conferences to set a clear vision for implementing Adventist EDGE goals. We work with the local conferences to communicate the Adventist EDGE vision to teachers, school boards, families and constituents.

Kentucky-Tennessee Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is headquarters for Kentucky and Western Tennessee.

South Atlantic Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is headquarters for regional constituency for North Carolina, South Carolina and Georgia (except the Southeast portion.)

South Central Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is headquarters for regional constituency for Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Northwest Florida.

Southeastern Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is headquarters for regional constituency for Florida (except the Northwest portion) and Southeast Georgia.
