Curriculum Resource Guide

The Adventist EDGE is a School Improvement Initiave that will foster change. As it is implemented, it will encourage a change in the teacher from covering content and moving on, to teaching for mastery; a change in teaching strategies, from teacher-centered to student centered; a change in the curriculum, from out of context and textbook driven to authentic, relevant, meaningful, standards-based; a change in the student, from passive learner to critical thinker and problem solver; a change in the education, from assembly line, one-size fits all, to differentiated honoring student's individual uniqueness.

To support these changes, a variety of resources from primary and secondary sources will need to be provided. Textbooks, therefore, will no longer drive the curriculum, but will serve as one of many resources teachers use to develop Southern Union standards-based lesson plans.

Below is the Curriculum Resource Guide 2010-2011. It is separated by sections for your conveniece.
