Denominational certification is the process whereby a person is recognized to be academically and professionally qualified to teach in Seventh-day Adventist schools. A teaching certificate with its endorsement(s) indicates that the individual has completed the qualifying requirements to practice the profession of instructing children and youth in a Seventh-day Adventist school setting.

Qualifying for the appropriate certificate and maintaining it through continued professional preparation and growth is the responsibility of a professional educator.

The Certification Registrar works with more than 1,000 teachers in the Southern Union, grades Pre-K-12, assisting them in maintaining certification. New teachers are evaluated to determine what requirements are needed to be certificated and current teachers are informed as to what is needed to keep certificates updated and valid.

If you have already registered on the eRegistrar website, click this link Please click here to login for teacher certification status to access your certification information. Periodically check your profile and update it as necessary. Remember you can print your Status Sheets from this link as well.

If you have not registered on the eRegistrar website, click this link to register as a new user, New User Registration. Make sure you enter your first and last name in lower case letters. Once you are registered you can log back in and access your certification information.
