Certification Manual!
Denominational certification is the process where a person is recognized to be academically and professionally qualified to teach in Seventh-day Adventist schools.

A teaching certificate with its endorsement(s) indicates that the individual has completed or is working on completing the qualifying requirements to practice the profession of instructing children and youth in a Seventh-day Adventist school setting.

Qualifying for the appropriate certificate and maintaining it through continued professional preparation and growth is the responsibility of a professional educator.

  • New teachers are evaluated to determine what requirements are needed for certification.
  • Current teachers are informed as to what is required to maintain existing certification.

The NAD Dashboard now allows you to connect to your Teacher Certification Report which lists the required courses:

  1. Log into Dashboard https://dashboard.nadeducation.org/login
  2. Periodically review and print your Teacher Certification Report for your records.
  3. If you have questions regarding the information on your report, please contact the Certification Office at Lbiggs@southernunion.com, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (770) 408-1800, ext. 160.
